The Argentine Polo Association (AAP), the governing body of national polo and the foremost international reference in the sport, has officially launched its new virtual training platform: https://polouniversity.com.ar/. This project was developed in collaboration with Polo University, the Association’s academic branch.
Polo University was created as the educational development arm of the AAP, with the mission of offering content endorsed by leading figures in the sport, professional training opportunities, and official certifications. The initiative guarantees a top-quality learning experience that reflects the values and standards of Argentine polo.
The platform pursues several key objectives: expanding the global reach of Argentine polo by encouraging interest and understanding of the sport among new audiences; raising the level of competition both domestically and internationally; supporting the growth of the polo industry by improving the training of professionals in related fields; and fostering continuous improvement by promoting a safer, more dynamic, and more disciplined style of polo, one that is firmly committed to animal welfare.
Diego Uranga, Director of Polo University, expressed: “With PU we are reinventing the way polo is taught and learned. Our platform allows users to train at their own pace, backed by the knowledge of experts and industry leaders. We are creating unique learning and professional development experiences, fully aligned with the demands and prestige of Argentine polo.”
He concluded with pride in the work achieved: “After eight years of very hard work with PU, we finally managed to build the platform we had always dreamed of.”
Through the new platform, https://polouniversity.com.ar/, users will have access to courses, training programs, official certifications, and a wide range of additional resources, including updated regulations, match analysis, and the latest news from the world of professional polo.
