The Argentine Polo Association has announced that the grand final of the 84th Tortugas Country Club Open, presented by Jumbo, featuring the Emilio de Anchorena Cup, will be held on Friday, November 1, at 4:00 PM on Field 7 of the local club. In this final, La Hache P.T. will face Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose.
131º Campeonato Abierto Argentino de Polo
The first two matchdays of the world’s premier interclub polo championship will take place on Saturday, November 2, and Sunday, November 3, at the Argentine Polo Grounds in Palermo. The schedule is as follows:
Matchday 1 – Saturday, November 2
• 2:00 PM, Zone A, Field 2: Indios Chapaleufú Vista Energy vs. La Hache Cría y Polo
• 4:30 PM, Zone B, Field 1: La Ensenada Dietrich vs. Cría La Dolfina
Matchday 2 – Sunday, November 3
• 2:00 PM, Field 2: La Dolfina Saudi vs. La Aguada or La Zeta Kazak
• 4:30 PM, Field 1: La Natividad vs. La Aguada or La Zeta Kazak
As determined by the results of the Tortugas Open, Indios Chapaleufú Vista Energy, La Hache Cría y Polo, and La Aguada are positioned in Zone A; while La Ensenada Dietrich, Cría La Dolfina, and La Zeta Kazak are in Zone B.
After the Tortugas final, the finalists (Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose and La Hache P.T.) and the second-place teams in each zone (La Natividad and La Dolfina Saudi) will be assigned to their respective zones for the Palermo tournament. Depending on the final outcome, Ellerstina and La Dolfina will be assigned to one zone, while La Hache and La Natividad will be assigned to the other.
